New Science: Watch neurons fire in the auditory cortex of the brain!


  • Using a new technique, researchers were able to watch auditory processing in the brains of mice as they listened to tones and one another’s calls.
  • The researchers’ new map of the mouse auditory cortex could lead to better ways of treating people with hearing loss.
